City Engineer Sarff reported two bids for the Aspen Lane trunk sanitary sewer improvement (project No. 25-02 A). Holtmeier Construction, Inc. submitted the low bid at $129,452.16; GM Contracting, Inc. submitted $195,094.14. Based on competitive bidding and past performance, staff recommended acceptance of Holtmeier Construction's bid and the council adopted Res. No. 62-25 to accept the low bid.
The project extends a trunk sanitary sewer along Aspen Lane from just west of Raymond Drive to a point beyond the planned Burnett's Ravine Ridge No. 8 subdivision; staff noted the low bidder's prior similar project experience as part of the recommendation.
