Town Manager reports FEMA funds received, new trash-sticker vendor, broadband proposal and staffing notes

Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb reported that the town has received FEMA money and that a check was written to move those funds into the investment account. She said the town identified a new vendor for trash stickers that will save roughly $1,500 and that the new stickers include printed instructions and a cold-weather adhesive.
Liscomb said auditors found an issue with 941 payroll filings and that auditors are working on a solution. She also reported that the broadband committee asked whether remaining funds may be used to support community digital-skills work. Liscomb noted she completed a six-month motor-vehicle audit and is now the permanent Motor Vehicle Agent. She and a colleague attended the MMA convention and will close the office for upcoming trainings; Workers' Compensation recommended return-to-work policies that she will draft in coming weeks.
