Mayor highlights National Night Out, grant deadlines and air-quality updates

On regional smoke and air quality, Mayor Pro Tem reported a Northwest Clean Air Agency update that air quality on Whidbey Island was "moderate" and that clearing from the Pacific was expected to improve conditions overnight. The mayor also acknowledged staff and communications training efforts.
