Jessica Harris, the district's Community Relations Assistant, told the Community Relations Committee that "The Community Organizations Breakfast will be held on May 5th from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. at the Gull Lake Center for the Fine Arts (GLCFA)." The committee heard that breakfast will be provided, approximately 100 individuals will be invited, and coordination is underway for a choir and band performance and a possible robotics presentation.
Committee members discussed key talking points the Board should use when engaging with attendees and asked that a draft invitation be shared with the committee before distribution. The event is presented as a district-hosted opportunity to connect with community organizations and stakeholders; arrangements and program details will be finalized in the coming weeks.
