The North Mankato City Council unanimously approved the consent agenda on June 16, which bundled routine items including payments and permits.
Items approved included bills and appropriations; Resolution No. 63-25 approving donations, contributions, and grants; a concession permit for the Circle the Earth event at Wheeler Park on June 30, 2025; authorization for the Police Chief to sign a Joint Powers Agreement to participate in the Minnesota Anti-Heroin Task Force Program; and an event and audio permit for an American Legion fundraiser on August 9, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Council Member Oachs moved the consent agenda and Council Member Peterson seconded; vote recorded as unanimous.
The consent vote allows staff to finalize permits and execute the Joint Powers Agreement authorized at the meeting.
