Public Works Director Arnold told the council that work continues on Page Avenue with plans to complete Center Street to Lake Street before Fun Days and finish remaining blocks after the event; ADA ramp and spot repairs are under way and mill-and-overlay work is taking place on Sharon Drive, two alleys, and the Caswell Parking Lot.
City Administrator McCann announced several community programs and events: the FOCP Backpack Food Program, a small food pantry at Taylor Library, the Farmers' Market opening June 9 at 1825 W. Howard Drive, a Climate Action Plan virtual meeting on May 6, a free car-seat clinic on May 9, planting day at Wheeler Park on May 13, the Mayor's ride on May 15, Bookin on Belgrade on May 17 and a Pollinator Plant Swap Meet on May 17.
