Planning Commission forwards Hunters Glen revised subdivision plan to supervisors

Chairman Raymond Brown convened the April 2 meeting and the Planning Commission heard a presentation on the Hunters Glen revised preliminary subdivision and land development plan from John Murphy of Alpha Consulting Engineers and Micky Thompson of Keystone Custom Homes.
Murphy said the applicants purchased land along Beard Road to provide an additional access drive and explained that the relocation of the Hickory Court cul‑de‑sac is driven by wetlands on site. Asked whether trees would be removed, Murphy said they "plan to keep as many as possible and add some in open spaces," and noted the final extent of clearing may be determined through the NPDES permitting process. Township Engineer Jonathan Robinson described the cul‑de‑sac relocation and staff confirmed the commission should forward the item to the Board of Supervisors subject to staff and engineering comments. On a Duncan/Sandys motion the commission forwarded the revised plan with a recommendation for approval.
