A representative identifying himself as Nick appeared June 17 to present a height‑variance request on behalf of property owners (Ed and Gurney) for a garage on a lower parcel above a gated development on Mount Tremper. The representative said the garage is intended for storage and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, would be single‑story with mechanicals tucked to the rear, and that much of the structure would be nested into the hillside.
Board members examined the topo plans and asked about sight lines and retaining walls. The board set a public hearing for the matter at the July meeting to allow neighbors and the public to comment before a decision.
