Committee member (S3) updated the council that compost pickups continue (Thursday and Saturday) and that two volunteers have accepted Jora composters for local use. She said the only remaining administrative step is a town lending agreement that volunteers will sign so the town's ownership and return terms are documented.
Members asked whether some of the compost output could be returned to town plantings (for example, Glenbrook Park) so contributors can see the benefit locally. Committee member (S4) said that returning finished compost to visible municipal plantings could encourage participation and make the program more rewarding for volunteers.
