The engineer's office said the county's estimate at bid opening was $1,110,846 and that the townships will reimburse the county for the township portions (estimated reimbursement $455,460.64).
The board also authorized a seven‑year lease/purchase agreement with KS State Bank for $298,471 to acquire a Volvo tandem plow truck with a dump body. The resolution authorizes annual lease payments of $52,954.63 from the MVGT account beginning in 2027 and ending in 2033.
