The clerk confirmed an Oct. 28 meeting at 4 p.m. to consider police advisory commission items related to the council report, and commissioners agreed the SART material could be considered after the council presentation if more time is needed.
Commissioners said a SWAT refresher would help the public and members understand when the team is deployed and what training it performs; staff noted SWAT and SART together could make for a longer meeting and offered to adjust scheduling based on council timing.
