The Technical Review Committee voted 6-0 on April 2, 2025, to approve minor site plan SP2404, which will allow construction of Lily Hammock Boulevard into Deering Park Center.
The committee Chair said city staff and a third-party contracted engineer reviewed the submitted plans, found they meet the land development code and the comprehensive plan and that city staff "is recommending approval." The Chair also said staff sent public notice within 500 feet of the subject property.
The Chair moved to approve the site plan, saying, "I make a motion that we approve site plan 2404." The motion was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote in which six members recorded "yes" votes; there were no recorded nay votes or abstentions. The Chair then closed the public hearing for SP2404.
Committee members present during roll call included Thurman, Solstice, Laracy, Mahoney, Maroney and Worrall. The meeting began at 2:30 p.m. and the public hearing on SP2404 was completed without public comment.
Next steps were not specified in the hearing record. The approval authorizes the site-plan step described in the application; any subsequent permits or inspections required by code would follow established permitting processes.
