After conducting interviews and multi‑round voting to fill a vacancy on the board, the Farmington Board of Education selected Ronald Recinto by consensus to fill the vacant seat beginning July 1, 2025. The board reviewed a list of interviewed candidates and each trustee submitted ranked choices during successive rounds of voting.
President Terri Weems provided an overview of the voting process. In the final rounds trustees identified Ronald Recinto as their top choice and the board announced Recinto’s selection; no formal roll call vote is recorded beyond the consensus selection statement in the minutes.
