Founder thanks town, donors as flag football program enters third season

Altamari credited a $5,000 donation from the Bonifiglia Foundation for enabling higher-quality jerseys and said the program keeps costs low for families. She invited residents to follow the program on Facebook and distributed flyers with contact information. “Our mission has always been to provide an affordable high quality youth program for the children of Seneca County,” she said. The speaker noted registration is open for season 3 and said the season starts Aug. 24 with a first game Sept. 12.
The remarks were delivered during the public-comment portion of the board meeting; no formal action or funding request was recorded in the minutes portion of the hearing, though Altamari thanked the board and local partners for in-kind and financial support.
