At the Jan. 7 reorganizational meeting the board authorized a set of administrative and financial providers and actions. The motion "to authorize the following bank depositories: Stearns Bank, Magnifi Financial – Albany Branch, PMA Financial Network 'MN Trust'" was recorded and approved by all present.
The board also voted to retain Pemberton Law as district legal counsel and designated the Board Chair and the Superintendent as the district representatives who may contact legal counsel. The board continued with Schlenner-Wenner for audit services and authorized the business manager and superintendent to invest excess funds and make electronic fund transfers. These motions were presented as routine governance and financial-control items and were adopted unanimously.
