Albany school board re-elects Hansen as chair, raises member compensation

The motion to adopt the compensation package was made by Member Rueter, seconded by Member Dirkes, and recorded as approved by all present.
The changes take effect for 2026 board service and were passed as part of the organization's reauthorization items at the start of the meeting. The board also set meeting dates for the year and scheduled a community informational budget meeting for Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
