City HR Director Lacey Paulson introduced a video recognizing new hires and one retirement for July. New hires included Esther Lee (parks and recreation aide), Christopher Jimenez (utility crafts worker, wastewater maintenance), Rachel Montgomery (accounting specialist, finance), Chad Roby (journey line worker, power operations), Phoebe Trask (library supervisor), James Wilkinson (plant operator in training, wastewater operations), Kendall Klein (police record specialist, Richland Police Department) and Olin Mulalin (electrical distribution engineer I).
Paulson also recognized Colleen Jackson, an emergency communications dispatcher who retired July 5 after 26 years of service to the city. "Welcome new hires to the city of Richland," Paulson said; council members echoed congratulations and thanks to Jackson.
