During the public comment period, resident Mark Keane asked that it be recorded "there continues to be no response from the developer of Blackledge Circle sub-division concerning the road and drainage issues." Mayor Charles F. Tyson, Jr. replied that the Town cannot act because the situation is not the Town's responsibility and suggested homeowners could pursue legal remedies if the developer does not address the problems.
Paula Lasitter thanked maintenance staff for responding to drainage concerns in the Trent Shores neighborhood earlier in the months leading up to the meeting. The exchange left the issue unresolved in the meeting record: the developer did not appear and no town-initiated remedy or enforcement action was reported.
