Residents urge commissioners to keep Cliffview assisted living funded

Other commenters, including Tish Linky Crimpin, said they did not believe the board intended to close Cliffview but raised questions about Medicare funding and county priorities for lodging-tax proposals and housing.
The commissioners did not take immediate action on Cliffview funding at the meeting; public comment closed and the board proceeded with the agenda. Several commissioners acknowledged the concerns and asked staff to keep the issue on future agendas as they review budget and program options.
