Commissioners approve GSG contract amendment for Kremmling road shop and an IT staffing upgrade

Thomas Johnson, Grand County Information Technology Director and CISO, asked the board to remove an open Computer Technician I position and add a Senior Systems Administrator to increase redundancy and better cover high‑level responsibilities. Johnson said the change would raise personnel expenses in 2025 by approximately $30,000. Commissioners moved and approved the staffing change after brief discussion about succession and redundancy.
