Josh Dorcey moved to approve the renewal and accept the grant funds; Dex Driskell seconded the motion. The vote was 6–0 in favor. The superintendent’s recommendation noted that the COPS grant offsets a portion of the program cost (listed in the MOU’s budget tables), which project remaining district costs after grant reimbursement.
