The district indicated it remains an "abstinence plus" district and that middle-school instruction will continue to cover HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted infections. Administrators also proposed removing the 1984 film "Miracle of Life" (available only on DVD) and shifting some reproduction content to the high school; the Curriculum Committee supported the recommendation but noted that any changes to sex education content require Board approval.
