The Farmington Board of Education convened its regular meeting on Aug. 12, 2025, at 6:01 p.m. at the Maxfield Education Center. President Terri A. Weems called the meeting to order and led the Pledge of Allegiance; roll call showed five members present and two absent.
Ronald Recinto was sworn in as a member of the Board by Notary Colleen R. Scripture and "officially assumed the duties of office." Trustee Claudia T. Heinrich moved to amend the agenda to include June 17, 2025 minutes under the consent agenda; the motion and the amended agenda were both approved by voice vote, Ayes: Blau, Heinrich, Hull, Recinto, Weems; Nays: None (motions passed 5–0).
