Island Senior Resources outlines growing demand for services and partnerships

Weiser provided operational details and budget context: “We are a $4,200,000 organization this year,” she said, noting 56 employees and about 264 volunteers and rising service demand. She encouraged residents to call ISR’s main line for assistance at (360) 321-1600 and described plans to hire development and grant-writing staff to diversify funding away from government sources. Council members and attendees urged better paratransit coordination, more technology education for seniors, and housing discussions tied to aging-in-place needs.
