Planning board and select board set Aug. 20 kickoff for Castle Road sidewalks; parking‑sign review under way

Staff also reported progress on a parking‑policy effort: a July 16 meeting reviewed inconsistencies in signage and a plan to audit signage by street was being implemented. Staff said they would divide streets among committee members and reconvene to propose updates to out‑of‑date or inconsistent signs.
Board members urged moving the work forward and said they would remain engaged as the planning board finalizes agendas for the joint kickoff.
