Superintendent Dr. Reimer told trustees the district would file final statements of substantial completion with NYSED for the $25 million Capital Improvement Project to secure aid timelines, and the architects received engineering addenda on a separate $14 million CIP under review.
Separately, the Board passed a SEQR resolution declaring the 2026–27 Capital Outlay Project (door, security, safety, communication, masonry repairs, and entry enhancements at Central School, 1911 Building and Elementary Building) a Type II action under 6 NYCRR § 617.5(c), finding no SEQRA review necessary for those routine maintenance and rehabilitation activities. The motion approving the SEQR resolution passed 6–0.
