Glenn Heights council casts votes for appraisal-district director slates

For the Dallas Central Appraisal District (Resolution R-43-25), council members polled and agreed to cast both of Glenn Heights' votes for Pauline Medrano; the council then moved and approved the resolution unanimously.
For the Ellis Appraisal District (Resolution R-44-25), Brown explained Glenn Heights did not submit a local candidate and apologized that nominated candidates previously considered did not appear on the ballot; council agreed to cast all 16 votes to Walter Erwin and approved the action unanimously. Councilmembers discussed the administrative error that prevented earlier nominees from appearing on the ballot and noted the practical effect that the city had to select among listed candidates.
Both resolutions were approved in open session by recorded voice votes with a unanimous roll call in favor. The votes will be transmitted as the city's official ballots for the respective appraisal-district director elections.
