The Glenn Heights City Council convened into executive session at 8:02 p.m. under Texas Government Code sections 551.071 and 551.072 to discuss real-property negotiations and to consult with the city attorney about land acquisitions associated with the East Bear Creek Road right-of-way expansion project, and under section 551.074 for personnel matters.
The council returned to open session at about 9:04 p.m. but announced that Councilmember Stephanie Hale had left, which broke quorum; Mayor Sonya A. Brown said no action would be taken as a result of the executive session and adjourned the meeting at 9:05 p.m. The notice read into the record identified the statutory bases for the executive session but the council did not disclose action items because the session produced no formal vote.
