On Feb. 9 the Claymont City Board of Education approved the district's January 2026 financial report, payment of bills, and the financial forecast during the Treasurer's report. The board also approved a software renewal: HR Onboarding Module through SC Strategic Solutions for $2,500 (term 3/1/26–2/28/27).
Additionally, the board approved a resolution authorizing the transfer of excess funds from the Bond Retirement Fund (Fund 002) to the Permanent Improvement Fund (Fund 003). Those actions were taken by unanimous roll call vote.
Treasurer Kim Beckley presented the monthly financials and forecast during the administrative reports preceding the votes. The minutes do not break down the amounts transferred from Fund 002 to Fund 003 or present an itemized forecast within the text; the board approved the forecast as presented in board packets.
