The Killdeer City Commission voted July 21 to allow demolition of the Kuntz Property and to permit Arrow Service Team to haul demolition material to the landfill. The commission also authorized hiring John Truchan to dig the pit at the landfill to receive the demolition debris. Commissioner Greg Nordsven moved the measure and Commissioner Jeff Fair seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous roll-call vote.
The minutes state: "Commissioner Nordsven made the motion to allow the demolition of the Kuntz Property to be hauled to the landfill by Arrow Service Team and to hire John Truchan to dig the pit at the landfill for the demolition, seconded by Commissioner Fair. All voted aye on a roll call vote." The minutes do not specify contract terms with Arrow Service Team, pit excavation cost, or demolition timeline.
