At a reorganizational meeting on June 9, the Middleton Select Board unanimously elected Kosta Prentakis as chair and Debbie Carbone as clerk.
Jeff Garber nominated Prentakis for chair and Debbie Carbone was nominated for clerk by Garber; both nominations were seconded and approved without opposition. Prentakis said the board should prioritize “making progress on the disposition of the former town buildings” and requested quarterly departmental updates on budget impacts.
The elections take effect immediately; the board noted this is the first meeting following annual town elections and attendees included Town Administrator Justin Sultzbach and Assistant Town Administrator Jackie Bresnahan. The reorganization sets leadership for ongoing agenda items such as the municipal-complex disposition and capital budget oversight.
