During commendations the board also recognized student and staff achievements including Teen Roadeo team placement (3rd place), Project Lead the Way winners Lane Wells and Kellen Renicker, and national growth winners in Math180 and Read180. The Claymont Foundation distributed scholarships totaling $229,611 to Claymont/Buckeye students, graduating seniors and alumni, a sum noted by the board.
