Commission allocates $200 to Torrington Area Health District for 2026 pool registration

At the March 11 meeting Dan Carr moved to allocate $200 to the Torrington Area Health District (TAHD) to pay for the 2026 swimming pool registration and inspection. The motion was seconded by Chris Wadsworth and carried by unanimous vote of present commissioners.
The allocation follows an earlier communication from TAHD that included a 2026 pool registration form and payment request. The minutes record the motion and the commission’s directive for the Treasurer to process the payment; the commission did not discuss alternate funding sources during the recorded minutes.
