The board adopted committee and representative appointments such as Martha Campbell for OSBA Legislative and Lois Grandison as OSBA Student Liaison.
The board authorized routine administrative actions: it authorized the Treasurer to pay bills within permanent appropriations, designated the Treasurer as signatory for payroll and warrants, authorized requests for County Auditor advances and interim-fund investments, and directed that interest among funds be distributed in accordance with R.C. 42.22. The board employed the legal firm Pepple & Waggoner as counsel, authorized the Treasurer to sign telecommunications agreements to comply with E-Rate Rules, set mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate of $0.725 per mile, and set the district minimum wage at $11.00 per hour. The motion approving Items A–O passed by roll-call vote.
