The Claymont City Board of Education approved several district-level agreements and vendor contracts on the superintendent’s recommendation. The board authorized a Memorandum of Understanding with Kent State University for College Credit Plus for the 2026–2027 school year and approved the district’s annual membership in the Ohio School Boards Association for $8,398.
Administratively, the board also approved a contract with OME-RESA for internet services using E‑Rate funding, a Congruex contract for fiber removal and set-up to the central office, and a contract with Laketec for UPS unit services using E‑Rate. These items were presented as part of Superintendent recommendation items and were approved by roll-call vote.
