At the close of the Feb. 21 meeting, Chief VanNamee brought paperwork describing the "Jobs for Blue" program and summarized how the program would save time and money for the department. The public participation portion ended "With no more public questions or comments this portion was closed."
With no further business, Mr. Brown moved to adjourn and Mrs. Martin seconded; the motion passed with four affirmative votes and the meeting adjourned at 12:25 p.m. The minutes were later approved March 4, 2026 and signed by June Proffitt, Municipal Clerk.
