Carneys Point committee approves 5th amendment to Amazon redevelopment agreement

The Carneys Point Township Committee voted unanimously on Feb. 18 to authorize the 5th Amendment to the Redevelopment Agreement for Amazon Fulfillment Urban Renewal Carneys Point, LLC (Bk 255, Lot 12). Dr. Johnson moved for approval; the motion was seconded by Mrs. Martin and carried without dissent.
Joe Propero, attorney for Amazon, told the committee the amendment is procedural, saying, "this amendment is just cleaning up the Agreement. Noticed an Exhibit was wrong and such." No board member requested substantive changes and the amendment passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
