Superintendent J. Henry told the Board that Heartland Mechanical Contractors has completed much of the HVAC punch‑list work and that a few items remain, including demolition of old controls equipment in the high‑school office and in‑district training on the new controls. Henry said the district will issue a final payment of $157,166.69 to Heartland Mechanical Contractors once the remaining work and training are finished.
Henry provided a projected date for the staff training on the new system controls: Sept. 19, 2025. No disputes or alternate proposals regarding the contractor’s final payment were recorded in the board minutes. The Board approved the consent agenda that included the items Henry previewed earlier in the meeting.
