The consent motion, made by board member Dilliner and seconded by Rounds, passed on a roll‑call vote of seven yeas and zero nays.
The consent agenda also included approval of the minutes from the Aug. 11, 2025 meeting, the treasurer’s report, payment of bills totaling $168,828.96 and salaries totaling $464,966.61, authorization for specified out‑of‑state and overnight field trips, and authorization for the district superintendent or designee to approve facility‑use requests for SV Rising Stars. The agenda packet listed the cessation of the high‑school wrestling cooperative with Benton Consolidated High School among the items approved under consent.
Board Secretary L. Zimbro recorded the roll and Superintendent J. Henry presented the items to the board before the vote. The motion carried with all seven members present voting in favor. The approved FY26 budget and EBF plan were recorded in the meeting materials as the district’s initial fiscal plan for the coming year.
