Design firms chosen for three college projects including Pellissippi State softball complex

The subcommittee approved selection of Losch & Associates Inc., Orchard, Hilton & McClement Inc., and Johnson Johnson Crabtree Architects to design three capital projects at Pellissippi State and Tennessee Tech.
Secretary Hargett moved to approve the recommended designers for three capital projects and the subcommittee approved the selections by voice vote.
"We have 3 items today as always. These come as recommended by the respective state procurement agencies. We try to balance geographic preference as well as capacity," Secretary Hargett said before naming the firms: Losch & Associates Inc. for the Pellissippi State Community College softball complex; Orchard, Hilton & McClement Inc. for the Pellissippi State Strawberry Plains campus access and parking repairs; and Johnson Johnson Crabtree Architects for the Tennessee Technological University tennis complex. The committee moved, seconded and passed the selections with no further questions.
The firms will proceed as the selected designers for the listed projects; procurement documentation and project scopes will follow normal OSA and SBC procedures.
