Roger Jackson, real property agent for the agency, told the subcommittee the acquisition involves approximately 3 acres and that the landowner "is gonna gift those 2 tracts to us." Jackson said the owner has five tracts in total and plans to gift two to the agency while selling the remaining three on the market. He added the agency would not be using substantive TWA operating funds for the acquisition beyond "small due diligence fee[s]."
The chair called for a vote after brief questions about the parcels and transaction costs; members approved the motion. The item was introduced by staff and discussed on the record during the meeting.
The approval authorizes the agency to accept the donated tracts and proceed with required due diligence and closing steps under the terms presented to the subcommittee.
