The superintendent said the foundation will focus on activities not covered by the general school budget and emphasized that a revitalized board will concentrate on fundraising and grant-making.
The committee did not take a formal vote on the foundation tonight; the superintendent indicated a formal presentation and possible board action are planned for an upcoming full board meeting.
