City reports: deputy city clerk hired, accounts reconciled and annual road report filed

During the Jan. 13 meeting Mayor Wanda Irish reported that City Hall will be closed Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and said an HMH Engineering meeting is scheduled for Jan. 15 at 1:30 PM. The mayor also stated the city hired "Tim" as deputy city clerk; the minutes use inconsistent spellings for that surname.
City Clerk/Treasurer Miriah Pfeiffer reported that all bank accounts were reconciled and that the annual road and street report was submitted Dec. 31, 2025. Committee updates noted administration committee work on encroachment permits, fees and penalties, and budget review; Public Works Committee plans to meet Jan. 26, 2026.
