The Harrison City Council voted Jan. 13 to approve an Area of City Impact (AOI) map set to one-eighth of a mile, subject to the county's decision to accept that boundary. Councilor Joe Cornell moved to approve the map and Josephine Prophet seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
Council members did not attach additional conditions beyond the county contingency. The AOI determines the area in which the city and county coordinate planning and development decisions; the council recorded no public opposition during the agenda item.
