At its July 18 meeting, the Franklin Township Environmental Commission reviewed application PB2605 (Block 6803, Lot 19 on Florida Avenue), a proposal to subdivide roughly 15 acres to allow a single-family home on a half- to one-acre parcel.
Chair Michaelson said he had 'looked at the, the wetlands map' and 'did not see that this property was any wetlands.' Other commissioners pointed out wetlands on the larger mother parcel and recommended the commission record a concern. 'Possible wetlands on the western edge of the parcel,' one commissioner summarized, and the commission agreed to include an alert in its comments so the planning-board engineer can verify delineation.
Commissioners noted the applicant was not requesting variances and that driveway placement was not shown on the drawing. They agreed the engineer should check delineations and buffers before the planning board’s review.
