Board approves year-end capital and special revenue amendments, adopts 2025-26 capital fund

The Boyne City Board of Education unanimously approved a 2024-25 year-end amendment to the Capital Improvement Fund and adopted the 2025-26 Capital Improvement Fund resolution at its June 23 meeting. The motion to adopt the 2025-26 Capital Improvement Fund was made by Jill Towne-Patton and seconded by Savannah Hrenko; the vote was 6-0.
Separately, the board adopted the 2025-26 Special Revenues Budget as recommended administratively (motion by Sara Ward, seconded by Mary Towne). The board also approved original budgets tied to the district's 2025 capital bond during the meeting. Superintendent Patrick Little had earlier described that initial planning meetings and site work are underway to support capital projects.
