Boyne City board adopts 2025-26 general fund budget

The Boyne City Board of Education on June 23 approved the 2025-26 General Fund Budget by a unanimous roll-call vote. The motion to approve the budget was made by Mary Towne and seconded by Jill Towne-Patton; all six members present voted "Yea."
Earlier in the meeting the board also adopted a 2024-25 year-end amendment to the General Fund to close the district's books for the fiscal year. That amendment passed on a motion by Riley Cope, seconded by Mary Towne, with a recorded vote of 6-0. Superintendent Patrick Little provided an update on capital-planning work that staff have begun to support budgeted projects, including authorizing survey work and soil sampling.
