The Los Molinos Unified School District Board of Education on Nov. 20 approved employment and consulting items in unanimous votes.
The board voted 7-0 to hire Marney Munsterman as the LMHS girls JV basketball head coach and Hector Loera as a district custodian. The motion to approve the hires was moved by Vice President Melissa Peters and seconded by Trustee Lidia Mekhail.
In a separate action, the board approved two proposals from King Consulting — one to produce a Facility Master Plan and another to complete a Developer Fee Justification Study. Both consultant agreements were approved 7-0 after a motion by Melissa Peters and a second from Chuck Crossland. The board did not record contested debate on either item.
The approvals were part of the meeting’s action agenda and will allow district staff to proceed with contracting and scheduling for the planning studies and to finalize employment paperwork for the new coach and custodian.
