DRB continues Green Mountain Habitat subdivision and site plan for 1720 Spear Street to May 19

The Development Review Board continued two related Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity applications at 1720 Spear Street to a May 19 hearing date after discussing an outstanding requirement for a deeded right-of-way.
Board members described SD 2601 as a continued final plat application to subdivide a 36.2-acre lot (currently developed with a single-family house, a barn and a tennis court) into two lots, with the second lot to be developed under a separate site-plan application. The board noted the applicant had been advised that a deed of right-of-way crossing the property is required. One board member said the applicant had proactively asked the board to deny the subdivision; after discussion the board voted to continue the application to May 19 to give the applicant an opportunity to return with updated materials and to allow the two applications to be considered together.
Chair Dawn Filibert recused herself for these items, saying, "Since I'm on the board, I'm going to recuse myself, and I will be back for agenda item number 7." A committee member moved to continue SD 2601 to May 19 and the motion carried by voice vote. The related site-plan application SP 2607, described to the board as work on the newly subdivided 2-acre lot with associated road and infrastructure, was continued to the same date so the applications can be considered in sequence.
