At its June 17 meeting the Southgate City Council recorded the following formal outcomes: approval of the May 20, 2026 meeting minutes (Motion/Second: Hartman/Melville; Aye 6 Nay 0); acceptance of a Morton Salt procurement at $126.84 per ton after rescinding a prior reject motion (Motion/Second: Melville/Messmer; Aye 6 Nay 0); adoption of Ordinance 26-07 amending the Personnel Policy on second reading (Motion/Second: Melville/Okura; Aye 6 Nay 0); and adjournment (Motion/Second: Messmer/Hartman; Aye 6 Nay 0).
